This week we celebrate Punjab’s harvest festival Baisakhi, the Tamil New Year/ Puthandu, Bengali New Year Poila Boishakh and Easter. Based on the Hindu solar calendar, this period marks the New Year for a lot of the different communities in our country. The country will also be celebrating Easter which marks the resurrection of Christ and the celebration of life. And we all know what festivities mean for all Indians – food, and only food!
