It was Salman Khan who insisted that Kabir do a cameo in Sultan. And Kabir Khan couldn't really say no to Salman. Not only are the two close friends in real life, they've collaborated on two superhit films so far and are about to embark on a third feature film together.

Says a buddy of Salman, "No one says no to Salman. When he suggested Kabir do a small part in Sultan, Kabir agreed. As it is, he has to play himself in the film. Salman Khan had similarly convinced his pal Sajid Nadiadwala to turn director for Kick."

Kabir, it is understood, may agree to do further acting roles in films provided his cameo in Sultan works.

Laughs Kabir, "It's not a full-fledged role. Just a small appearance for fun."

Kabir is also gearing up to direct Salman again. "But it's too early to share the details."
