Smartphone cameras have become so good in recent years as most of them are more advanced and better than the regular point and shoots. They have gotten so good that Samsung did not even update the camera on S8 from S7. On the other hand, Apple is constantly trying to challenge visual capabilities of DSLR with software zoom and depth features.
