Earlier this year we had reported that after Talaash Reema Kagti would soon be directing none other than Akshay Kumar in the film Gold. Gold which is said to showcase India’s first win at the 14th Olympiad that was held in London was slated to go on floors in July or August this year. However, now we hear that the film has been delayed.

In fact though Akshay Kumar has already commenced training to play a hockey player in the film it is now being said that the film will go on floors only in October. However, though details on why the shoot of the film has been pushed are unavailable,Akshay Kumar certainly has a packed schedule with multiple projects lined up.

As for the film Gold, that will see Akshay Kumar sporting traditional outfits and will be the first time where the actor will be sporting dhoti – kurta throughout the film.
