The much talked about and highly anticipated eighth instalment in the Fast And Furious franchise released a week ago. After opening to on a good note with paid previous of the film beginning on Wednesday, Fast And Furious 8 has been raking in the moolah.

With positive reviews and good word of mouth the film managed to rake in Rs. 50.04 cr over the weekend which also includes collections from paid previews on Wednesday and Thursday. Though during the week the film’s collections witnessed the customary drop, with Rs. 5.15 cr coming in on Monday it did manage to hold strong over the subsequent weekdays. Now at the end of its first week in theatres the film has managed to collect Rs. 67.54 cr.

However, with the current new releases underperforming offering little to no competition to the film at the box office Fast And Furious 8 seems set to enjoy yet another week’s run at theatres.
