Noor had a poor weekend at the Box Office as it could net only Rs. 5.75 crore* at the Box Office. Collections on Sunday stayed on to be very low as just Rs. 2.32 crore* more came in. Though these are better than Day One numbers [Rs. 1.54 crore], it isn’t saying much since this is just a relative improvement while on an absolute scale these are hardly any collections.

In 2017, one hasn’t seen such low numbers for any notable release so far as the weekend total is lesser than even The Ghazi Attack [Rs. 6.70 crore] which was a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual, had released on a limited number of screens and had arrived with minimum promotion. These could also well be the lowest numbers for a film starring an A-list actor in last many years.

The film has been rejected by the audiences and the challenge now is for it to get into a double digit lifetime score. With Baahubali 2 arriving this Friday, the film basically has just a one week run for itself.

Maatr didn’t have much going for it either with its weekend total staying under the Rs. 1.5 crore mark.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
