Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are starring in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan inspired film titled Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. After shooting in several parts of North India, the shooting of the film was wrapped up in February 2017.

Finally, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have reunited to kickstart the promotions. The first stop on the promotional tour is Delhi. Bhumi shared a selfie with her co-star Akshay and captioned it as, “With a lot of pride we start our journey to bring our Prem Katha to you. It all begins today @akshaykumar @ToiletTheFilm #swachhazaadi #delhi#gratitude.”

Toilet- Ek Prem Katha is a love story revolving around Keshav and Jaya which is set in the backdrop of ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet- Ek Prem will release on August 11 this year clashing with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma untitled romance drama.

Besides this, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for R Balki’s next directorial venture PadMan. Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, will be seen in a romance drama Shubh Mangal Savdhaan starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
